Our featured speaker is the founder and CEO of BlocPower, a climate tech startup focusing on buildings in low-income and underserved neighborhoods across the United States. He wants to “turn buildings into Teslas, “ and will share why decarbonizing the buildings sector is both a challenge and an opportunity. BlocPower analyzes, finances, and constructs renewable energy and energy-efficient projects on a building by building, block by block basis. It was recently selected by the city of Ithaca, NY to electrify its entire building stock.
