The Canadian Conference for Global Health warmly welcomes researchers, policy makers, practitioners, students and stakeholders from all sectors for meaningful, evidence-based, and informed knowledge exchange to move forward collectively.
Building on the closing plenary in 2019, the 26th Canadian Conference on Global Health (CCGH) is calling the global health community to action around planetary health— defined as the health of human civilization and the state of the natural systems on which it depends.[1] The societies and the health systems we live in must be both resilient and responsive to the challenges of climate change—the overarching issue of our time.
Members of the global health community will learn from each other through lessons, policies, and practices that reflect how the health of populations have been influenced by good governance and/or strengthened accountability, and how such findings impact all people and seek to leave no one behind.
