Central Banking's Cambridge Training Series is designed to equip senior decision-makers in financial institutions around the world to meet the increasing challenges which they face professionally. The chosen format of meetings - roundtable discussions under the Chatham House Rule - is designed to encourage delegates to share experiences and benchmark practices and policies in a confidential environment. The venue - Christ's College, Cambridge - is chosen to allow delegates to step back from day-to-day pressures and swap perspectives with peers.
As an independent organisation, Central Banking Publications arranges a diverse group of presenters drawn from the official sector, markets, the media and academia to stimulate wide-ranging discussion of sensitive issues. Attendance at the training seminars is limited to official-sector delegates.
