OPEC released its latest monthly crude oil market report on March 20,2024, it shows that oil demand will grow by 2.25 million barrels per day in2024. Driven by the recovery of China and the global economy, global oildemand will continue to "grow strongly" by 1.85 million barrels per day in2025, continuing until the end of 2025.The world economic growthmomentum is insufficient and international oil prices have fallen in 2013.However, major international oil companies have appropriately adjustedthe pace of energy transformation, strengthened upstream oil and gas,paid equal attention to carbon reduction and profitability, coordinated thedevelopment of traditional oil and gas business and new energy business,and adjusted strategic goals and development paths, along with attachingequal importance to carbon reduction and profitability, restrengtheningupstream business, aiming to establish a safe, clean and affordableglobal energy system, orderly developing traditional oil and gas businessand new energy business, and achieving strong performance.
