Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organizing an event which aims to enhance India’s competitiveness by exploring advanced waste management technologies. This mission will provide exposure to best practices in waste management and foster collaboration. The mission will include representatives from industry, start ups, law firms, academic institutions, and more. Participants will meet key government, academic, and industry leaders, and visit various waste management facilities and innovation centres.
A couple of visits to Environmental Resource Institutes, Sustainability Academy, Waste Management & Recycling Association as well as visit to few Incineration Plants of top companies and facilities are also being planned. List of the tentative organisation will be visited is mentioned below:
• Tuas Incineration Plant (Waste-to-Energy)
• SembWaste (Singapore’s Waste Management Services Provider)
• The Singapore Sustainability Academy
• Environmental Resource Institutes (e.g., NUS or NTU)
• Hitachi Zosen Corporation (Singapore)
• Blue Planet Plant Visit
• Singapore Waste Management Association
• Singapore Society of Material Cycles and Waste Management
• Singapore Waste Research Foundation
