When the pandemic hit, pressure on vaccine researchers peaked within a few days. They had to expedite processes to days, which had usually taken them months. The most successful companies that were able to hasten their new vaccine GTM had one thing in common – their research design studios were hosted on cloud architectures. These companies were quickly able to scale their laboratory processes and be able to augment research for synergies of scale. The value proposition of cloud enabled business models essentially has now been accelerated towards process impact and business model flexibility.
While the need for agility and nimbleness continues to push companies toward cloud adoption; GTM & customer impact due to cloud native architectures is the future. Development of products and solutions at speed and near limitless scale is now marked with speed of innovation as the new benchmark.
