Financial statements frameworks provide guidelines in the preparation of financial statements of entities. Statement preparers, however, sometimes commit errors in financial statement preparation. In line with this, the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reviews submitted financial statements and conveys a summary of its findings of common errors.
