Security is now a mature field, but in many organizations the C.I.S.O. does not yet have a position on the board. The C.I.S.O. is seen as "Mister No" rather than as a business enabler.

The world as we know it is changing rapidly. Through I.T. and Internet of Things there are more and more opportunities to help customers with better, more innovative and faster services. This requires a lot from the Security professional. There is a lot, but is it safe and who takes responsibility? A balance must always be sought between seizing opportunities and avoiding risks.

Time for change! During the conference we look at the changing role of the C.I.S.O. Is he a generalist or a specialist? Is it someone looking for cooperation with, for example, chain partners and competitors? Is he driven business or I.T.? What competencies are needed? Where are the responsibilities and who is liable? How does he deal with security in an increasingly complex I.T. environment? How does he deal with the ever-changing laws and regulations and what does his role look like in the future?
