The corporate banking business of the banks remains under pressure. Influencing factors such as regulation and digitization have a particularly strong impact. As a result of this development, the traditional profitability of products in corporate banking shifts fundamentally. In order to remain relevant to corporate customers, banks therefore need to develop their businesses. The bank is growing beyond its classic role as a purely financial intermediary.
As part of the Corporate Banking Day 2018, industry experts will discuss the options that banks have for positioning themselves as value-adding intermediaries in the German market, the challenges they face and how the new technological possibilities can help with the implementation of digitization strategies.
