Major macroeconomic and geopolitical changes in Asia are affecting how chief financial officers and treasurers are managing their businesses. Since the end of “cheap China” supply chains in Asia have been rerouting, a phenomenon expedited by the trade war between the America and China. Technology is continuing to disrupt the processes which treasurers manage, from cash management to procurement, and compliance to capital management. And regulatory changes are creating uncertainty, begging the question: What will a post-LIBOR world look like?
These disruptive forces form the context of CTHK 2019, which will convene chief financial officers and treasury professionals from Hong Kong and around the region to give insights on how they are reacting to the profound changes happening within the function. As usual the audience, aside from supporting partners, will be made up entirely of those from the treasury or finance function, to promote discussion and debate in a safe environment.
