The Competition for the Cypriot Innovation Awards has been organized since 2006 by the Federation of Employers and Industrialists (OEB), contributing to the improvement and increase of the competitiveness of Cypriot businesses and organizations in the private and wider public sector.
The aim of the OEB Cyprus Innovation Awards is to highlight and reward Cypriot businesses, services and organizations, for the conception and implementation of successful innovative ideas in the primary sector, in the manufacturing sector and in the service sector, thus promoting innovation for the benefit of the economy , while at the same time the institution also rewards social innovation.
Over the past years, dozens of businesses and public organizations have been distinguished and awarded, among hundreds of very worthy entries, which proves that Cyprus is a vibrant center of innovation. The island has not only the right human resources, but also the thirst for distinctions and a leading role in the global economic, technological and social environment.
The institution of the Cyprus Innovation Award of the OEB is the highest distinction in Cyprus for the most innovative and successfully implemented practices and actions in Cypriot companies and organizations, it is supported by the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy and by the Research and Innovation Foundation.
