The Internet of Military Things (IoMT) or Internet of Battlefield Things (IoBT) refers to a network of sensors, wearables, and other devices that use cloud and edge computing to give advantage to a fighting force.
The military advantage that can be created by connecting ships, planes, tanks, drones, soldiers, and operating bases in a cohesive network that increases situational awareness, risk assessment, and response time. All this also produces a vast amount of data which can be further analysed.
