Open banking is at an inflection point. This year the Open Banking Roadmap will conclude and in support of regulators and the Future Entity, industry will engage to determine the priorities to extend open banking data-sharing and open payments and inform the design of the Future Entity. UK Finance is looking forward to this engagement and working as a partner with the regulators to inform their thinking. We’d like to do that with a wide range of firms to ensure that our thinking and engagement with stakeholders are well informed by a wide range of market participants.
After the panel Interim Director will explain how interested firms can continue to participate in any future discussions on these developments through the launch of a new UK Finance Digital Innovation Group.
This event will enable attendees to:
• Explore how open banking is extending into all areas of financial services, bringing about the goal of Open Finance
• Hear from a number of leading FIs and TPPs what they see as the opportunities in the market through digital innovation
• Understand better how UK Finance is shaping this area through collaboration across both industry and regulators
• Register their interest in engaging formally with UK Finance through our new member offerings
