The FCA and Bank of England are moving forward rapidly with Digital Regulatory Reporting (DRR), a joint initiative to make regulatory reporting more efficient and effective. The purpose of DRR is to reduce the regulatory reporting burden on firms by making the process more efficient, while improving the quality of the regulatory reports received by the FCA and Bank of England.

Now in Phase 3, DRR is progressing towards machine readable regulation and machine executable regulation, while tackling key issues, such as data standardisation, and working with relevant stakeholders in the industry, including firms and Regtech companies, to co-design and test solutions to reduce burden. At the same time, other financial regulators in Europe and across the world are embracing DRR.

Firms need to start preparing now for the introduction of DRR. Join us building on the success of our three previous, related RegTech events, will present strategies and examples of best practice that will help financial institutions to gain competitive advantage by mastering regulatory reporting compliance through automation and innovation.

With keynote addresses from the top UK and EU regulators, the forum will address the challenges that financial institutions face as they move towards integrating digital reporting solutions, particularly in relation to having the necessary skill sets, creating standardised data in the required formats and choosing technology platforms that are robust and secure. Ultimately, success will lead to making reporting more timely, more effective and less burdensome for firms.
