This workshop is especially designed for EAFRD managing authorities and for financial intermediaries that are interested in the potential use of financial instruments dealing with infrastructures in the rural and agricultural sector.

The objective of this workshop is to investigate the needs for rural and agricultural infrastructure investments and to preliminary assess how financial instruments could facilitate the deployment of infrastructural investments in the following areas:

Supply chain infrastructure;
Renewable energy and building energy efficiency investments;
Waste treatment;
Irrigation, water supply and purification;
Smart services and infrastructure for rural villages;
Forestry infrastructure;
Broadband and ICT infrastructure.
For such purpose, the workshop will focus on how to match the EAFRD MAs needs in terms of infrastructures with the financial intermediaries potentially interested in investing in agricultural and rural infrastructure. With this in mind, the active participation of the attendance will be stimulated during the workshop.
