The Mid-Atlantic region, encompassing Delaware, Southeastern Pennsylvania, and South Jersey, has been chosen by the United States Department of Energy to receive funding of up to $750 million through the Hydrogen Hubs (H2Hubs) program.
This financial support aims to bolster the establishment of the Mid-Atlantic Clean Hydrogen Hub (MACH2) – a collaborative network involving hydrogen producers, consumers, and essential local infrastructure. The MACH2 initiative, alongside six other hubs, is projected to annually mitigate 25 million metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions from end-uses. This collective effort is poised to generate tens of thousands of high-quality jobs nationwide, contribute to community well-being, and fortify America's energy security.
Be part of the conversation as we delve into the current blueprint for MACH2, exploring its implications for Delaware's economy, security, and communities.
