Since the issuance of a Policy Statement on Virtual Assets (VA) Development in Hong Kong, a comprehensive licensing regime for VA trading platforms has been introduced, a public consultation on stablecoin regulation is underway, and a high-level Task Force has been set up to guide the Web3 and VA development.
