This year, new plug-in EV sales have reached nearly 10% of the US light-duty market, with more than 3.4 million vehicles sold since 2010. To assess the impact of this momentum we were incredibly lucky to have speakers and attendees from municipalities, utilities, fleet owners, investors, charge point operators, and even airport operators. Having energy leaders in the room including the Department of Energy, the California Energy Commission, and utilities such as Southern California Edison, Centrepoint, and ESP Chattanooga gave the event a behind the scenes look at integrating EVs into the grid, smart charging systems, microgrids, and case studies of solutions for a successful EV transition featuring in-depth presentations/panel discussions and high-level networking opportunities.
