The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation’s (FDIC) Southeast Louisiana (SELA) Alliance for Economic Inclusion (AEI) is hosting its first-quarter membership meeting via webinar. This event will provide information encouraging banks to consider offering low-cost accounts, and share successful strategies in Louisiana to target these accounts to communities with high unbanked rates. The Cities for Financial Empowerment (CFE) Fund will present information to assist banks in offering low-cost accounts, and Bank On Coalition Coordinators will highlight account access activities in Louisiana. SELA AEI members will share activities and discuss opportunities.
