The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will host a webinar in Spanish to support the technical and funding needs of individuals pursuing entrepreneurship in California’s Central Valley. The event seeks to open formal channels of lending and financial services for new Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs, focused on those who may have recently lost jobs as a result of the pandemic, including ITIN holders. Technical assistance providers and affordable non-traditional lenders that focus on new entrepreneurs and start-ups will present educational and lending programs, and will provide collaboration opportunities for bankers and community-based organizations.
