Agribusiness plays an essential role in the Brazilian economy, being responsible for a significant portion of the national GDP. To boost this sector, it is essential to explore alternative financing instruments, since the Safra Plan , despite its growth in recent years, is still not enough to supply the national demand.

In this scenario, alternative instruments for raising funds, such as Investment Funds (FIAgros), CRAs, debentures, FIDCs, among others, end up playing an essential role in leveraging the sector, providing flexibility and diversification for the entire chain agriculture. Data from Conab estimate that the sector will need approximately R$ 1 trillionfor the 23/24 harvest, where only 35-40% of this amount will come from the Crop Plan.

In short, the development of new technologies, as well as the adoption of specific strategies that intensify and automate processes, making Brazilian agribusiness more competitive and profitable, requires a large and continuous investment. Will alternative instruments be able to revolutionize fundraising and financing in the sector?
