After the most prolonged Central Bank rate rising cycle in recent memory, fixed incomes’ role in portfolio construction is back. The rapid return to normalisation of interest rates has already begun to reveal cracks in the global economy and more will almost certainly appear. Questions around the relative appeal and risk of various opportunities and sectors therefore remain and the path of Central Bank policy is perhaps less predictable than people think.
This Forum brings together key allocators to re-examine the role of traditional fixed income, and explore supplementary alternatives across the fixed income and credit space. Balancing risk and return is increasingly complex - the Forum will promote meaningful peer discussion of strategies to this event address key challenges faced.
