After the (crypto)winter, came the (MiCA)summer and the PayPal StableCoin. The DLT pilot regime was introduced in the spring and the Future Financing Act is due in the autumn. The trend towards the use of blockchain technology in the financial sector by traditional market participants continues unabated.
The third edition of the Frankfurt Crypto Conference examines the markets in crypto assets regulation in detail and analyzes initial practical experiences with the DLT pilot regime from the perspective of practitioners and supervisors. In the practical part, we look at the status of implementation of the eWpG, the Future Financing Act and the state of play in the development of digital market infrastructures. A status update on the digital euro and (competing) stablecoin projects rounds off the program, before we give an insight into the future of the financial world with DeFi and the Metaverse.
