Designers and developers have a common mission - to create amazing front-end experiences. But it isn't always easy for these two tribes to communicate; they must learn each other's languages, share perspectives, and find compromises that work best for both parties.

To bridge this gap between design and technology, in 2011 we founded: Where Design Meets Technology! Our speakers cover everything from Zapier automation tools to Zeplin user interface affordances so attendees can make their projects even more kickass!

To build a kick-ass frontend, we rely on each other: Designers on developers, and developers on designers. But it’s often difficult to work together; we need to learn each other's language, understand each other’s priorities and have to be willing to make compromises that serve both.
