The banking sector continues to play a leading role in sustaining Lebanon’s economy and efforts are focused on building financial stability and resilience. The country is navigating its way through the uncertainties it faces, including those posed by high levels of public debt, and exposure to volatile regional geopolitics and security threats.
The Lebanese Banking Forum, organised by Financial Times Live in partnership with the Association of Banks in Lebanon, will explore the prospects for collaboration and look at the steps being taken to drive economic growth and strengthen the integrity of Lebanon’s banking system. Senior banking executives from Lebanon will be joined by international thought-leaders, experts and correspondent bank representatives to discuss areas of mutual interest, such as fighting finance fraud and money laundering, and the issues surrounding regulation and compliance.
This event will gather senior banking executives from Lebanon, international thought-leaders, experts and correspondent bank representatives. Attendance is by invitation only. Applicants will be considered subject to availability of seats and meeting the above criteria.
