The growth of companies depends on the intelligent use of data. Artificial intelligence, machine learning and now also generative AI are no longer new developments in this context. But the phenomenal success of chatbots based on large language models also has enormous "disruptive" potential.
This is likely to have a serious impact, especially on the day-to-day operations of companies. Among many others, the areas affected are machine learning and manufacturing, customer experience management, development and quality assurance, content creation and defense against cyber attacks.
But the path from the first lighthouse projects with training data in manageable language models to the productive use of generative AI is challenging.
The Generative AI Summit by CIO and IDC will examine how decision-makers in IT and specialist departments can best prepare for this task with the aim of aggregating knowledge and promoting exchange.
