This event majority is new and complex sustainability regulations have entered into force for actors active in the financial market, the risk of inadvertently participating in greenwashing also increases. Therefore, it is of the utmost importance to have good knowledge of the newly added sustainability regulations and to work actively to identify and prevent greenwashing risks in your own organization.
During this webinar, we discuss concrete examples of activities that can contribute to greenwashing and focus on how you as a fund company, securities company, bank or insurance intermediary can counteract your own participation in this. Examples of greenwashing risks are discussed in the light of central sustainability regulations, such as the Disclosure Ordinance, the Taxonomy Ordinance and changes in MiFID II and IDD. We also look ahead and see what activities we can expect from the supervisory authorities in the area in 2023 and what necessary measures you as CEO, sustainability manager, compliance or risk manager may need to take in your organization.
