2020 was an extremely challenging year around the world, but Guernsey stayed strong doing the Covid-19 pandemic, and its financial services sector, to quote a practitioner who uses Guernsey for financial services, "never missed a beat".
Guernsey Finance felt the disruption as much as any other business, with all our usual off-island events cancelled in 2020. But we moved quickly to take our flagship events and even our promotional roadshows online, and were still able to provide insightful content, and even raise our profile more widely, as we continued our mission to promote and connect Guernsey as a leading financial centre in our chosen markets.
