The increasing importance of environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues has heightened demands for clear commitments and transparent reporting on progress. Given the rapid regulatory changes, companies will need to better understand their current state across ESG metrics and risks, and develop a remediation plan.
To drive consistent reporting of ESG performance, businesses need to strengthen their capabilities across five areas – governance and leadership alignment, data process and controls, data collection and analysis, data assurance, and consistent reporting and communications. Moreover, with the growing importance of – and reliance on – sustainability information, investors, regulators and policymakers are turning their attention to the role of assurance in ensuring high-quality reporting.
Join us to understand more about the extent to which companies are reporting and obtaining assurance over their sustainability disclosures, key challenges in sustainability reporting and how to prepare your company for this reporting journey.
Agenda
• State of climate reporting in Singapore
• How the recommendations by the Sustainability Reporting Advisory Committee (SRAC) may impact your company's sustainability disclosures
• Navigating challenges in sustainability disclosures for transparent, credible and enhanced reporting
