The digital transformation of enterprises has been started many years ago. This trend was only accelerated and partly changed as a result of the impact of COVID-19. In line with this, C-level roles has also been changed. CIO’s has become a kind of COO as the owner of enterprise operations owner while Line of Business leaders has also been forced to became familiar with the ways of utilizing digital technologies. Due to this turbulent changes, enterprises should find the ways to make their internal processes more fluent and effective. At the same time they should also actively seek how to remain competitive and improve customer connections via innovative, digital but secure ways, maintaining their trust. These are the topics which will be highlighted in the IDC Summit.
Topics:
• How to build a better understanding of customer needs, issues, intentions, etc. by effectively utilizing available (digital) channels to interact with and build a better picture of “the customer” and anticipate new customer
requirements
• Developing new products, new services, new revenue streams, monetization of data etc. to drive opportunity development with the existing and new customer bases – could include innovation labs
• New metrics/KPIs to demonstrate the value of IT
• Making processes more efficient using new ways and solutions, such as automation/RPA, or AI
• New chapter in cloud transformation. The era of multi-cloud world
• The IDC “Control Planes” story – managing commerce, business process and cloud is an interesting concept – so moving to managing the (innovation) platform to enable digital progress
