The organizer is a non-profit, state-wide membership organization, created to promote the stabilization of communities through the production and preservation of affordable housing. IHC serves as a resource for information, education, and networking opportunities for our members from across all sectors of the industry. On an annual basis hosts a statewide affordable housing conference, the Illinois Affordable Housing Forum. The Forum provides an opportunity for hundreds of industry leaders from across Illinois to come together to share ideas, discuss best practices and make new connections.

Building off the success of past conferences and adapting to the changing environment, in 2022 will be presenting a hybrid conference with educational sessions streamed online and one day of in-person activities and networking available for a limited number of attendees.
