On behalf of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) and, our host, the Bank Negara Malaysia (Central Bank of Malaysia), you are cordially invited to attend the 24th Annual Conference of the IAIS to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 2-3 November 2017.
Bank Negara Malaysia is particularly honoured to bring this event to South East Asia—one of the fastest growing insurance markets, home to more than 600 million people and a region with significant economic growth prospects.
The theme for the 2017 annual conference is “Insurance Supervision: Looking Beyond… .” This theme reflects on the possibilities that lie ahead for insurers and regulators - such as those that lie beyond the status quo, beyond national boundaries, beyond the present and beyond conventional insurance.
This conference is a unique opportunity for insurance supervisors from over 200 jurisdictions around the world to gather together in one place in pursuit of our common mission.
We will engage in a robust and meaningful exchange of competing ideas and perspectives and learn from one another, as we aim to develop and strengthen our commitments through engaging panel discussions and inspiring keynote speakers.
