The financial market of Uzbekistan has been closed for foreign investors for a long time and its development has been significantly limited. The country has now adopted a development strategy until 2021 that presupposes the securities market growth, fostering a competitive environment in the country, and boosting the region’s attractiveness for international cooperation.
Cbonds has already held conferences in Uzbekistan in 2006 and 2007. After 10 years, it’s time to re-open the capital market of this country. The conference agenda includes discussions on regulation and infrastructure, the local securities market, and international financial cooperation.
