The financial market of Uzbekistan has been closed for foreign investors for a long time and its development has been significantly limited. The country has now adopted a development strategy until 2021 that presupposes the securities market growth, fostering a competitive environment in the country, and boosting the region’s attractiveness for international cooperation.
