As more advisors are having to field queries regarding clients’ exposure to international transactions, a working knowledge of the relevant tax implications is becoming a lot more important.

Following on from the 2018 International Tax Day, this year’s program seeks to build upon those issues raised last year. The event is aimed at practitioners who have intermittent client interaction regarding overseas transactions, and whilst not needing to specialise in this area, they need to be sufficiently aware of the issues, to ensure they correctly advise and retain their client’s confidence.

Specifically, the objectives of the day are to sharpen the advisor’s skillset so they become aware of the higher-risk issues, as well as know how to manage them.

If you are advising private businesses or high net worth individuals, you need to understand international tax issues to a working level, so you know how far to go, and more so, when to get someone else involved, whilst still retaining your client.
