Globally ESG investment seems to be thriving despite and potentially due to the challenging events of 2020. The global pandemic and race related issues in the US have pushed the social aspect of ESG to the forefront of business and investor priorities. Every city, country and continent must show equal determination to work towards a sustainable future.
Asia has continued to see strong momentum behind sustainable finance practices and the further integration of ESG concerns into mainstream investment management decisions. Governments and regulators have embarked on a number of initiatives towards green and sustainable finance in the past year. The focus of these policies is enhancing corporate and economic resilience, disclosure and transparency, and the development of green finance hubs to help fund the required transition towards more sustainable business practices.
As China leads the post Covid economic recovery in 2021, this webinar, with a particular focus on fixed income, will look at the delicate balance that Asia needs to strike as businesses across the globe look to build back better. This webinar looks to the views of the Asian investment market and the global opportunity in ESG and fixed income investment in 2021 and beyond.
