The event organizer is delighted to welcome you to the IUMI Chicago 2022 conference. AIMU is honored to have hosted six previous annual IUMI conferences, the most recent one being in 2012 in the city of San Diego.

AIMU’s organizing committee selected Chicago for several compelling reasons: its size, diversity, architecture, and easily accessible location. Chicago is located in the state of Illinois on Lake Michigan and was established as a city in 1837. With a population of 2.7 million, Chicago ranks as the third largest city in the United States, after New York and Los Angeles. It is known as the nation’s railroad capital, with more major railroads serving the city than any other place in America. Chicago is also famous for its abundance of unique architectural styles. The downtown area is connected to the Chicago O’Hare International Airport by a subway train line that operates 24/7.
