This event is the flagship event of CFA Society of Japan and is the largest conference of its kind in terms of the scale of topics, number of attendees, and number of people involved in its management. This Year, the theme of the conference is "Building Better Finance for Better Society."
In previous year, JIC has been held as a day-long event, first in person prior to Covid-19, and then online. This year's event will be held over three days of two-hour sessions in a format more suited to online viewing. While sharing the perspective of "Building Better Finance for Better Society" Throughout the three days, Day 1 will be "Investors View", Day 2 will be "Dialogue with Issuers", and Day 3 will be "International Financial Hub and Future of Finance". The speakers and panelists with deep knowledge of each topic will engage in sharp and thought-provoking discussions in the sense of cutting to the chase.
In recent years, the role of finance has been increasingly discussed in the context of its Impact on the realization of a sustainable society, not to mention its financial return. Through this conference, we would like to think about the role of finance in a more future-oriented way.
