The forum is an opportunity to discuss the potential of technology to promote quality and equity in the most diverse sectors of health care. Over four days, the conference will explore the fundamental axes that are the basis for a fairer and more equitable society: Innovation, Health Promotion, Equity, Environment, Health Education, Patient Safety, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence. This year’s Forum, in São Paulo, Brazil, will focus on the key theme of “Technology for Equity”.
Among the Objectives of the Event are:
• Promote awareness of the importance of the fivefold goal;
• Explore the possibilities of technology to promote quality and equity in health;
• Share knowledge and experiences about innovation in healthcare and its positive impacts on equity;
• Discuss the evolution of health services towards health innovation ecosystems;
• Stimulate debate about the role of technology in preserving the environment and in the search for sustainable solutions;
• Discuss the possible negative impacts of technology and how to mitigate them;
• Debate about the harm and opportunities of artificial intelligence in equity.
