Insight Finance welcomes you to the conference which we are holding for the 18th time. The pension sector faces a number of challenges, but also opportunities. The proportion of older citizens is increasing at the same time as the desire for more flexible retirement options. In the last few years, there has been unrest and uncertainty in the financial markets due to the pandemic and war in Europe. We take a closer look at that and what future we face within the pension sector at this year's conference. It is no longer enough as a pension company to ensure customers a good return, customers increasingly expect their pension company to act and invest their savings sustainably and ethically as well as profitably. Customers want fast, easy and good customer service as well as self-service options, which requires continuous digital improvement. The Danish Financial Supervisory Authority has intervened against deficits at SUL, and the ESG area is receiving increasing regulation and attention.
