Welcome to the Natural Capital Finance & Investment Conference 2022. As the UK's leading nature-based finance event, we bring together financial services, corporate sustainability, conservation, land management and government professionals to engage in expert-led dialogue to drive forward private investment in nature.
This year has seen wide recognition by businesses and investors of the huge opportunity to tackle both the nature and climate crises jointly, through green finance. Our 2022 programme across London and Edinburgh provides both an introduction to nature-based finance, and in-depth analysis and insight into how it works and the future of the market, including what is needed to scale it in the UK. We are also excited to be featuring four showcase sessions bringing to the UK market the very latest project and mechanism innovations, ready for investment.
Join us to hear the UK’s green finance leaders in London and Edinburgh sharing how to harness nature-based opportunities for nature and climate, including:
• How nature finance works in practice
• How to attract and scale finance for nature-based solutions
• New UK investment opportunities
• What the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) means for nature-based finance
• The role of digital technology in nature-based finance
• How to build an integrated standard for environmental markets.
Each year the conference attracts the leading speakers and sponsors in this specialist field. This year includes senior speakers from Zurich UK, Willis Towers Watson, UK Sustainable Investment & Finance Association, Tesco plc, SRUC - Scotland's Rural College, Scottish Wildlife Trust, Scottish Land Commission, Scottish Government, Pollination, Kent Wildlife Trust, Green Finance Institute, Environment Bank, DEFRA, Climate Asset Management, Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, Biosphere Foundation, Abundance Investment Management and more.
We are delighted to be delivering the event in association with the Scottish Nature Finance Pioneers.
The Conference is organised by the Ecosystems Knowledge Network, a registered charity that specialises in equipping people to deliver wellbeing and prosperity through a healthy natural environment.
