Please join us to this event. We will be joined, an impact investing and blended finance organization dedicated to building durable solutions to forced displacement. Together with you and other “sparks,” we will explore strategies and opportunities for impact investors to meet this moment.

During this action-oriented conversation, participants will explore topics including:
• For mission-driven investors, what are the needs being expressed now by Ukrainian people and the countries supporting those seeking refuge?
• What do we expect the future needs will be and how might impact investing with a racial equity lens be applied?
• What are the financial tools beyond grants that might be put to use (short-, mid- and long-term)?
• How can impact investors work together and with other ecosystem actors to invest in the needs of those impacted by the war?
• Open Mics are lightly structured, webcam-enabled calls for MIE members to come together and discuss ideas and opportunities to create impact. Intended to be flexible, Open Mics embody the goal of mobilizing with urgency, employing a simple concept:
• What ideas, projects, or resources exist within the MIE community — and how can we help each other respond to urgent crises?
• How can we work quickly to bring together a variety of voices, investment opportunities, and best practices in an action-oriented conversation?
