The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation are sponsoring the second of two webinars on partnership opportunities for financial institutions, nonprofit organizations, and local government with community development financial institutions (CDFI) in Missouri and Kansas. This second webinar, will discuss how CDFI partnerships can support initiatives designed for increasing low- and moderate-income individuals’ access to affordable housing.
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) of Kansas City are hosting a webinar series focusing on opportunities for financial institutions, non-profits, and local government to develop partnerships with Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) in Missouri and Kansas. CDFIs share a common goal of expanding economic opportunity in low- and moderate-income (LMI) communities by providing consumers and affordable housing with access to financial products.
This session will review how CDFI partnerships can leverage funds from the government and other programs to enhance community economic development. Participants will leave with an understanding of the benefits and resources CDFIs can offer local communities.
