With more and more people using and looking at stablecoins digital currencies and assets, policymakers are increasingly exploring ways to monitor and regulate digital assets.

The Services and Markets Bill laid the legislative foundations to bring stablecoins and cryptoassets into financial services regulation. The government has committed to bringing in a secondary legislation, but what that includes is very much unknown. All this poses a number of challenges for payment and e-money firms as well as consumers.

The event aims to bring together those in c-suite roles for a special peer-to-peer insights and advisory session on specific risks and challenges you are dealing with. It is exclusive to The Payments Association members and will be held on Zoom.
