The Pensions Age Northern Conference offers pension funds and those working in the UK pensions space the tools and information that they need to get it right at a time when managing pension schemes is more challenging than it has ever been.
Now in its fourth successful year, this one-day conference, which is open to pension scheme managers, trustees, FDs, advisers, pension and HR professionals, will offer delegates the up-to-date knowledge and guidance they need to help them run their pension schemes to the absolute best of their ability, and give them the tools they need to help them carry out their duties whether this is in relation to DB, DC or to schemes on a path to de-risk.
At a time when UK pension schemes would ideally like some respite from years of change, consultations on many aspects of pension provision continue to dominate the headlines on keys areas including the pensions dashboard; DB consolidation; CDC and stewardship, to name a few. Meanwhile, unpredictable markets operating against a backdrop of political mayhem mean investment strategies at play among pension funds – both in the DB and DC worlds – need to remain relevant and dynamic; while investment charges continue to be in the spotlight. Alongside this, the master-trust world is being shaken up in order to protect the member; DB transfers are causing much debate; and all the while, pension schemes need to stay on top of their governance, administration as well as their member communication.
Covering key aspects of pension provision, this key conference will help delegates improve their pensions knowledge and understanding with a series of presentations from leading pension professionals, associations and policymakers from across the industry.
