The 16th Real Estate Circle also dealt with all topics that are currently moving. Due to current events, the focus was on the topics of the inflation spiral, credit crunch, rising construction prices and ESG as a driver of changed framework conditions.

We are currently experiencing explosive times like we haven't seen in eight decades. The climate catastrophe that is far from being averted, the pandemic that is also not yet over, the care crisis in Austria and so many other topics have
faded into the background due to the outbreak of war in the immediate vicinity. Because it has the potential to bring about dramatic changes in our country too. In view of these challenges, the Real Estate Circle 2022 was the event to actively put the problems on the table and to present suitable solutions and "best practices". Discussions, analyzes and networking took place in a wide variety of formats.

Different climate models and the future development of cities were just as much a focus as the financing of real estate and projects. Current trends around the tokenization of real estate and the transition to the circular economy were evaluated in panels and individual sessions, because the real estate industry is a big player in the future of investments and climate issues.

Especially the view from all sides makes a valuable discussion. It is precisely for this reason that there is always enormous added value when Austria's leading figures in the real estate industry jointly show future paths in the development of the industry. In addition to the megatrends ESG and the digitization of processes, it was clear that the rapid reform of the financial sector in view of the current circumstances made heated discussions and important contributions from a wide variety of actors indispensable.
