The RECON offers financial, accounting and controlling decision-makers concentrated in two days all relevant current developments, practical know-how and trends first-hand.
The RECON, the annual forum for finance, accounting and controlling, is taking place for the 16th time. As you are used to and expect from us, we offer you again this time a rich professional program at the highest quality level.
In addition to the traditional AFRAC and IFRS updates, this year's program focuses on the advancing digitization and its significant implications in finance and accounting, tax, controlling and auditing. Existing opportunities and practical implementation examples from companies will be presented and trends will be discussed. In the area of accounting, experience from the application of the new IFRSs on revenue recognition and leasing as well as enforcement experience is presented. The UGB includes materiality as well as blockchain and cryptocurrencies. And in controlling, corporate planning, controlling processes and interface management are discussed.
What can you expect from the RECON 2019? The facts at a glance: two plenary sessions with prominent speakers, over 40 domestic and foreign top speakers from companies, science and leading consulting firms, workshops in five parallel streams, round tables for the exchange of experiences and the opportunity for further discussions with an attractive one Evening programme. As always, we pay close attention to the balance of practical experience, specialist knowledge and theory in all topics and workshops.
The program of the RECON 2019 was supported by the top-class Advisory Board consisting of Peter Bartos (BDO Austria), Mag. Peter Ertl (KPMG), Mag. Gerhard Schwarz (EY) and Mag. Gerhard Marterbauer (Deloitte). , Dr. Aslan Milla (PwC) and MMag. Christoph Zimmel (Grant Thornton Unitreu) for the accounting issues and Thomas Leissing (Egger Group), Mag. Leopold Rohrer (VERBUND) and Mag. Anton Schantl (Magna Steyr) for the controlling topics.
As a manager and employee in the finance area, you are always dealing with current topics. For this purpose, RECON offers a time-efficient and technically sophisticated update of current developments in accounting and controlling.
On behalf of all, we are pleased if we have aroused your interest in the program and welcome you to the RECON 2019.
