This CPD and networking event where we are joined by two expert speakers to share with us their knowledge, followed by networking drinks on the roof-top terrace.
The speaker from Allocation Strategy will talk with us to describe how asset allocation tools need to be redefined based on macro expectations embedded in market prices. For example, Capital Market Assumptions - estimates of expected return and risk – can only be built coherently if they are consistent with macro expectations. We will cover recent modelling innovations that provide more robust and intuitive CMAs, risk factors, and scenario analysis for investors designing their asset allocations.
The speakers will dig into the future of pensions and their evolution. They'll cover regulatory aspects like upcoming tax changes - announced and forecast, what people may not know about SIPPs, what are appropriate pensions and whether SIPPs need a rebrand: Sophisticated Individual Pension Plans.
Learning objective
To understand more about how asset prices embed macro expectations, and why asset allocation tools need to be re-defined to incorporate what markets are pricing.
