Pensions for Purpose are delighted to be co-hosting this virtual presentation and discussion on 8 March with Barnett Waddingham and Big Society Capital to share the findings from research we have recently undertaken looking into sustainable investing and impact investment.
Join us for a roundtable discussion where Amanda Latham, Policy & Strategy Lead at Barnett Waddingham and Andrew Beal, Head of Investor Engagement at Big Society Capital will kick-off by sharing a summary of the findings from this research. This will be followed by a discussion moderated by Charlotte O’Leary, CEO of Pensions for Purpose.
Questions that will be posed:
Why is sustainability and impact investing so important for pension fund trustees, managers and sponsors? What do changes in government policy, consumer preferences and market values mean?
How do pension fund investors integrate environmental and social impacts in investment objective setting, including the UN Sustainable Development Goals? How do they identify opportunities and what are the challenges?
What steps are trustees taking to better prepare themselves for these issues? What more can be done?
Who is this event for?
It is aimed at Trustees and Pensions Managers, whether you are an ESG, sustainability or impact champion, a sceptic or somewhere in between.
