How are the Economy and Three Key Engines Performing?
Major Trends in the Regina and Saskatoon Markets
Outlook for Growth in 2021 and Beyond
An informative update about how the diverse Saskatchewan economy along with two primary real estate markets are performing through this prolonged pandemic.
The province is a world leader in potash, uranium and other minerals as well as several sectors of agri-business. In addition, it is second only to Alberta with respect to oil production in Canada.
To real estate professionals, it is critical to understand the economic fundamentals that can drive growth, employment and demand for various asset classes in Regina, Saskatoon and secondary markets.
Following an overview of the economy’s current performance and future outlook, the first part of the program will also include insightful discussion on three key economic engines: Murad Al-Katib of AGT will examine agri-business; former Premier Brad Wall will speak about oil from his perspective as a director of Whitecap Resources; and Pamela Schwann of the Saskatchewan Mining Association provide an overview on mining and mineral exploration. They are the three most important examples of vibrant and world leading activity within this province.
Part two will feature panels examining the major trends in the Saskatoon and Regina real estate markets particularly from leasing, development and investment perspectives. The conversations will include commentary on the outlook of what lies ahead for the performance of the economy and real estate activity.
The Forum will be targeted at the interests of real estate executives, brokers, developers, investors, asset managers, and other professionals active in the acquisition, leasing, financing, and management of office, industrial, retail, and multi-unit residential real estate.
The Saskatchewan Real Estate Update will help you understand some of the significant areas of growth within this province and what strategies to follow for the remainder of 2021 and beyond.
Admission is complimentary thanks to our sponsors.
We hope that you will take advantage of this very informative program.
